Vivacity

My attempt at an expressionism impasto oil painting I did almost a year ago.  This was done in a prominent point in my life where I felt complete blessedness and painted whatever I pleased, rather than go for perfection like in my other pieces of art.  At first I was not a big fan of the results, and it was definitely a style which was out of my usual comfort zone.  But I grew to love it, and looking back at it, it reminds me of happy times and undisturbed moments.  Sadly the camera took out a lot of the detail, but in person you can tell the joy was flowing out of me as I rapidly painted on the colors with thick brush strokes...  I look at it with a smile.  So enjoy this piece of gleeful art, I hope it brings you as much joy as it does for me.
